ADVENT SUNDAY

Join us for breakfast at 9.15am, the service starts at 10am. Breakfast is provided free of charge.

Dear All,

It's Breakfast Church this coming Sunday and a really special one at that!  It's Advent Sunday so we'll begin our time together (after Breakfast) by lighting the Advent Wreath with the first candle of Advent, before painting of the clay objects we made in September which have been successfully fired by Kolin the Kiln!  Come and decorate your clay creation using the slip colours that Helen Emery will provide.  Full instructions will be provided, but perhaps don't come in your Sunday best - come prepared just in case some paint misses its intended target!

Don't worry if you didn't attend in September, there will be a selection of spare clay fired items for you to take, paint and adopt as your own.  No one will be left out! Once painted, we will keep the objects and Kolin the Kiln will fire them (over Christmas) so that your clay creation is revealed in all its glory.

In addition, we will be inviting everyone to help 'fingerprint paint' a clay chalice and plate that we will use whenever we share bread and wine at Breakfast Church.  Come and print your unique and precious fingerprint onto the chalice and plate and be part of making something historic truly amazing!

And just when it couldn't get any better - we have a special gift for all who attend on Sunday.  It's called 'Advent in a Bag' - a simple way of encouraging you in your journey through Advent at home with family, or just on your own. It's yours to take as you leave at the end of our time together.

It all kicks off with breakfast in the Audsley Room from 9.15am!  All it now needs is you!

So plan to be with us and start your journey into Advent in this very special way.

Revd Paul

We would like you to continue to book in for the time being, as it will help us manage the service if we have a rough idea of who is likely to attend. Your help by doing this would be appreciated. However, we will not turn anyone away who comes to worship – everyone will be welcomed and included!

Let us know if you will be coming using the following ways -
