Joint service

31st October 2021 at 10:00am
St Mary's Church   (Get Directions)

It’s a 5th Sunday and I’m delighted that we are meeting together as two parishes at St Mary’s, Kings Worthy at 10.00am for a service of Holy Communion.

We’ll be concluding our short sermon series in James, but I also want to take the opportunity to share a little more widely the good news we recently received that will bless and benefit both parishes in different but significant ways.

There will be in-service provision for children and we will keep the service moving along swiftly. We will share in refreshments both inside and outside after the service. The church will be warm and well heated but as the service starts we will open the doors and windows to facilitate good ventilation.

Can I ask you to make meeting together in worship as members of the family of God a priority this Sunday?   I always enjoy these shared services - a sense that we are part of something wider, larger and greater and it’s also an occasion for us to revive friendships which the pandemic has denied us for too long.

Remember, the clocks go back on Sunday morning, so you even get an extra hour to get ready!  Also, please note that parts of London Road may be closed that morning for the Winchester 10k race.

See you on Sunday, if not before!  Revd Paul.

We would like you to continue to book in for the time being, as it will help us manage the service if we have a rough idea of who is likely to attend. Your help by doing this would be appreciated. However, we will not turn anyone away who comes to worship – everyone will be welcomed and included!

Let us know if you will be coming using the following ways -
