The Eco and Environment Hub is co-ordinating St Mary’s work to become more eco-responsible, a carbon neutral church and to actively and appropriately care for and appreciate all aspects of God’s creation and the environment in our church locality and the wider world. We are working together to identify actions we can take both within St Mary’s and within our wider community, taking into account national church and governmental policy in this area. This includes auditing our existing eco-footprint and coming up with short, medium and long term actions. We are looking forward to sharing these plans more widely, and leading our journey to a sustainable and environmentally responsible future.
