We take Jesus’ instruction to his disciples seriously – ‘Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.’
We are seeking to make disciples – people who love and follow Jesus as closely as they can and who receive teaching, encouragement and practical support to be the people that God desires in the place where he has uniquely put us.
At St Mary’s we are blessed to have a diverse and talented ministry team comprised of ordained, licensed and lay people who are united in their love of Jesus Christ and their desire to share that with others. We do that through in person services and initiatives as well as being present on various digital platforms. We strive to offer high quality, authentic, life-giving, and personally relevant mission and ministry in a wide range of settings and services.
In addition, we value learning together and do this through many different ways and times of the year, most notably our Learning4Life study seasons – thrice yearly, 4 week opportunities to study and learn with others under the guidance and facilitation of two of the ministry team.
Our worship and music is also a key aspect of our worshipping life and we have a talented music director, musicians and supporters whose role is to be an example and encourage us to be worshippers first and foremost whenever we gather together. Our style spans both contemporary and classical which is great delight!
