Each short series focuses on a different theme.
We have enjoyed the different ways and times in which Stephen Golding and Matthew Briggs have co-created Learning for Life sessions in the past 3 years. We have held 4 week-long series as well as Learning for Life mornings to help the whole church experience and engage with this excellent Bible teaching.
Our next ‘Learning for Life’ Sunday morning at St Mary’s, Kings Worthy is taking place on May 18th. This time we are welcoming Jim Paul as our guest speaker. Jim has been a palliative care doctor and is now the senior leader of the L’Abri Fellowship based in the Hampshire village of Greatham. L’Abri is a residential community committed to exploring ‘Honest Answers to Honest Questions’.
We’ll be exploring together the theme of Jim’s book, ‘What on Earth is Heaven?’
The programme will be as follows:

[11.45-12.00 Optional Communion Service]
There will be input from our speaker as well as opportunities for questions and discussion.
