National Jubilee Beacon Lighting
Start the long bank holiday weekend on 2nd June at 7.30pm by participating in the National Jubilee Beacon Lighting which will take place all across the country. Kings Worthy will be part of this historic event and a beacon will be lit on the top of St Mary’s Church tower! There will be performances from the Winchester Military Wives Choir and refreshments will be served by the Girl Guides. Not to be missed!
Party for the Queen – Community Fun Event
On Friday 3rd between 1pm and 5pm, head for Church Green for the ‘Party for the Queen’, a community fun event for everyone with live music, BBQ, bar, funfair and more…
Civic Service
At 10am on Sunday 5th June we will be holding a civic service at St Mary’s Church to give thanks to God for the 70 years of service of Her Majesty the Queen. Join us as we share prayers, readings and reflections to celebrate the occasion.
