CRIB SERVICE at St Mary's Church

Our Christmas Eve Crib Service will be held outside on Church Green.  We’ll tell the story and figures will be brought to the stable but perhaps in a slightly different way this year!  Please come dressed as any character you like from the Nativity story – adults and children alike! There will be a small gift for anyone who dresses up.

Please come well prepared - wear warm boots, coats, hats, gloves, scarves etc.  There will be a limited supply of chairs available, so if you want to sit, can you please bring a fold up chair.  Parking will be behind Church Green Close but please walk if you can.  You are welcome to bring flasks of coffee, mulled wine even and festive refreshments, but please take your litter away with you.

There is no need to book to attend this service. Just turn up. Everyone is welcome.

If the weather is very wet in the days preceding and heavy rain is forecast for the day, we will issue guidance on indoor arrangements via our web site and on the church email list.  We will do that at least a week in advance so that you can plan accordingly.
