At St Mary’s we want all our children and young people to experience God’s amazing love, have the opportunity to get to know Jesus as their friend and to flourish and grow as individuals on their own faith journey. The following groups are available for all our children and young people:
‘Lighthouse via Zoom’ – This is our provision for school-aged children. We meet fortnightly on a Sunday morning via Zoom. Here we find creative ways to explore God‘s love through bible-based teaching and lots of fun and games.
‘Lighthouse Youth via Zoom’- Meets monthly for secondary school aged children. This is a relaxed and informal space for our young people to explore their faith through discussion and more fun and games.
‘Pop-up Lighthouse’ – A new initiative which will enable us to get together in person on a monthly basis where small groups of children and young people can meet together outside and explore their faith through creative bible-based activities and connecting with nature.
Lockdown has made it much harder to meet in person and even meeting using technology can feel a like hard work. So, we’re created a new venture – Forest Church, for parents with toddlers & young (Key Stage 1) children.
For now, Forest Church is taking the form of a self-guided trail with activities, simple prayers and thoughts.
Join in as a family or one-on-one, email firstname.lastname@example.org for details of how to take part.
We are hoping to offer one every month.
